Concurrent App Analysis

Now we analyze its users’ characteristics with the concurrent app analysis function.

Users of Pocket Parco, an app developed by a chain of department stores mostly used by middle-aged people living in urban areas, reached the highest degree of reoccurrence alongside the Starbucks app. The 4th ranked app is Tsukiji Gindako, an app developed by a Japanese fast food chain that often has its restaurants in malls. It is safe to assume that those successful chains in malls are increasing their customers’ engagement with the brand by operating their own apps.

Conclusion – How Far Will the Starbucks App Go –

We have learned that the Starbucks app is now mostly used in urban areas, successful acceptance of the app in the rural area will be a crucial factor for its further growth.
